It wasn't until I finished the quilt that I realised what lovely secondary patterns developed in the quilt. This quilt is made using the delightful Finnegan's Wake quilt block. I liked the block in its own right, but I am astounded by all the secondary designs that appeared when I sewed several of the blocks together. This is a quilt that really carries interest: the more you look, the more designs you see!
